We were delighted to hold WieTec 2022 this October, and now we are disappointed to announce that the event will have to be postponed. The Covid-19 pandemic is still present in some parts of China, therefore, on August 30, the Shanghai Municipal Prevention and Control Office issued the “Notice on the strengthening of pandemic prevention and control during large gatherings.” We would like to respect the city’s safety guidelines and honor the hard-won achievements of the Shanghai authorities in controlling and preventing the pandemic, therefore we made the hard decision to postpone WieTec 2022 originally scheduled for October 9-11 to the next year. The exhibition will now open on June 5, and run until June 7, at the Shanghai National Exhibition & Convention Center.

The pandemic is not over yet. It’s time for all of us to adapt to the state of uncertainty and take a step back and reconsider the ways we do business. These hard times have inspired us to create a hybrid show that integrates offline and online services. WieTec Webinars is a series of online events designed to create a dialogue on industry trends and challenges between millions of users of WieTec Online Marketplace. WieTec Webinars leverage the industry resources of the WieTec online marketplace, therefore guests include some of the biggest industry experts, senior scholars, and representatives.
