The purpose of the committee is to implement national guidelines, policies, and regulations, play a role as a bridge and link between the government and enterprises, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises, promote industry development and technological progress, promote the high-quality development of the pipeline industry, and improve the economy of the industry

China Building Decoration Association is a national industry association registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs and under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It is the only national legal person association in the building decoration industry. Since its establishment in September 1984, the association has taken the development of China's architectural decoration industry as its mission. The organization actively supports professional technical, economic, and cultural activities in the industry, and has formed a strong influence and cohesion in the industry. The Building Materials and Home Furnishing Branch of the China Building Decoration Association is a gathering of enterprises in the entire industry chain of building materials and home furnishings, determined to build Chinese building materials and home furnishing economy and the entire industry ecological chain, and promote the development of the industry.

China Refurbishing Engineering Alliance was formally established on July 26, 2010, initiated by many refurbishing companies and alliances in the industry. So far, the China National Refurbishing Engineering Association has developed into a collective organization with more than 3,000 members, including more than 400 purchasers, more than 600 designer members, and more than 1,000 members of decoration enterprises. Industry-influential platforms such as Jiejinghui, China Refurbishing Engineering Purchasing Alliance, Shanghai Refurbishing Engineering Alliance, Shanghai Design Alliance, etc., are of epochal significance for deepening the exchanges of the decorative building materials industry and promoting the construction of modern quality of life. The Shanghai Wire and Cable Industry Association was established in May 1987. It gathers enterprises and institutions specializing in wire and cable product manufacturing, wire and cable materials and equipment manufacturing, and related scientific research institutions, with Shanghai as the core and the Yangtze River Delta as the focus. This interdisciplinary organization is non-profit, and it implements self-regulatory management with the goal of promoting industry production and technological development, providing technical consultation, personnel training, information services, organizational research, price coordination, industry statistics, among many other activities.

The aim of the Association is to cope with climate challenges and environmental pollution and implement the concepts of green development, as well as improve people’s wellbeing and environment, protect public health, and promote the development of emerging technologies and products related to air quality and ventilation.

The Low Carbon Building Research Center of the China Academy of Building Research is a research center specifically established for the research of low carbon buildings.

The main technical scope covers heating and ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning, air purification, architectural acoustics, architectural optics, architectural thermal engineering and other similar fields. The main focus is on the building environment, building energy, building energy conservation, green buildings, smart buildings, etc., and is committed to solving key technologies in indoor and outdoor environments, new energy applications, and building sound, light and heat engineering problems, as well as the challenges related to the indoor air quality, indoor air purification, building environment, renewable energy, to name a few.

The Air Purification Industry Alliance is based on the Air Purification Equipment Professional Committee of the Shanghai Environmental Protection Industry Association. It is an alliance established on the basis of technical standards.

The Indoor Purification Service Committee of China Building Materials Circulation Association is a national indoor purification industry organization approved and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It conducts membership development, information exchange, consulting services, business training, rating, exhibitions, academic research, international exchanges, policy drafting and other activities. The purpose is to "lead the development of the industry, coordinate the governance of the society, and serve the enterprise accurately". The association abides by the national constitution, laws, regulations and national policies, social ethics and customs, and plays a functional role in promoting social governance with government departments, while continuously improving the international status of the industry, and striving for sustainable development of the indoor purification service industry.
